As part of the Evolving Regions (ER) project, the German Institute of Urban Affairs (Difu<\/a>) in cooperation with the Social Research Centre and the Education Centre for the Supply and Waste Management Industry (BEW<\/a>) has developed a workshop series for the planning and implementation of regional climate adaptation processes. The workshop series consists of five events in the period from September 2021 to April 2022. In it, the participants are taught how cross-regional adaptation processes can be initiated, financed and carried out in a structured way with the help of the roadmap method.<\/p>\n\n
The workshops will take place on the following dates:<\/p>\n\n
The workshop series is primarily aimed at employees of districts, cities and municipalities, especially in rural regions in Germany, who want to initiate and carry out a cross-regional climate adaptation process in their region. In the same way, the offer is also aimed at representatives of regional or intermunicipal associations, intermediary organizations or other regional cooperations, e.g. in the areas of regional planning, economy or tourism.<\/p>\n\n
